In Spain there are plenty of opportunities for going hunting and fishing. The many rivers in the Pyrenees and in Picas de Europe have excellent fishing qualities for those interested in that. There are many different species of fish throughout Spain, but trout is the most common freshwater fish. For fishing for salmon the area around Asturia is highly recommended, but salmon also can be found in other freshwater sources around Spain. The big fish can be caught in the river Ebro. To be able to fish you need to obtain a permit from the regional authorities/ tourist board.

Besides the freshwater fishing in beautiful natural surroundings, you can experience thrilling and exhilarating shark fishing from boats.
